Oxycodone Sales Investigation and Arrest

On May 20, 2015, members of the Fairfield Police Department's Narcotics Unit executed multiple search and seizure warrants which led to the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a large quantity of narcotic pain medication.

In early 2015, Fairfield Police Detectives received information that a Fairfield resident was selling large amounts of Oxycodone, a highly addictive narcotic pain medication, in Fairfield.  The investigation revealed that this Fairfield resident would travel to the home of Curtis and Joann Pistey in Easton, CT on the same day they would refill substantial amounts of doctor prescribed Oxycodone and other powerful narcotic medication.  The Fairfield resident would then return to Fairfield with a portion of the Pistey's Oxycodone for street sales.

During the execution of a Search Warrant on the Pistey's home, Fairfield Police seized nearly 750 assorted DEA controlled Schedule II narcotic pills and over $5,000 in cash.  The street value of these pills is conservatively estimated to be approximately $30,000.  Narcotic medication such as these typically sell for $1/milligram at the street level.

The identity of the Fairfield resident is being withheld at this time as the investigation is active and ongoing.
