Pink Pledge

On October 1, the “Pink Awareness” police car will be on display at the Pink Pledge Kick Off Event at the Sherman Green Gazebo on Post Road in Fairfield. Patients and survivors will be asked to sign the car as Signatures of Strength!

The bright pink cruiser will begin the evening at the event's (optional) Stroll for Strength for patients, survivors and their friends which begins at 5:15pm at the Breast Center’s offices at 111 Beach Road in Fairfield and ends at the Sherman Green Gazebo.

The evenings Pink Pledge Kick-off Event sponsored by Merrill Lynch Wealth Management begins immediately following the stroll at the Sherman Green Gazebo. Star 99.9 radio personality Anna Zap will provide music and announcements throughout the evening. Fairfield First Selectman Michael Tetreau will issue an official proclamation, followed by a live drawing for the first of five weekly chance prizes and other surprises to help turn Fairfield pink. Arrive at the green between 5:30-5:45 to save your place for the kick off. Wear your brightest pink.

“We are so grateful to the Fairfield Police Department for supporting our work in the community and for Miller Nissan for so generously sponsoring the pink cruiser,” says Dr. Donna Twist, Executive Director of the Norma Pfriem Breast Center.
